Poppies Restaurant and Deli never disappoints! Stopped in for breakfast, and it was an absolute treat. Matt, our waiter, was a total pro--quick-witted, funny, and somehow a mind reader, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The service was impeccable, the food was fresh and delicious, and the whole experience was just top-notch. If you're looking for a spot that nails it every time, Poppies is the place. Guess not a good dining day. Service was spotty . Food was a little off in previous quality. Manager looked very unhappy I had my young son with me.

Let me say, I came with a party of about twenty people and they were able to accommodate us with our reservation. Our waitress had the patience of a saint. Yes, it took a while for the food to come out, but we were a large group! The portions are pretty huge and a lot of us walked away with leftovers. I'm assuming they make their bagels in house... but it was one of the best bagels I've had in south Florida. The restaurant is a little toasty inside for my taste.

I stopped by Poppies to pick up a dessert for guests I was having. I chose the cheese cake with strawberries on top and I must say it was delicious. The cake was not as dense as some cheese cakes but it was lighter and creamier. This is my new go to treat.

Food is always above average! Service is great. Extremely clean. There is a waitress whose name escapes me . She was positively outstanding!!!! Middle aged, blonde maybe named Mary???

Finally, someone got a clue and opened an old school Greek Diner in Poppies location. Firstly, the food and menu is excellent. Helps to BE NICE to your server. I overheard driving miss daisy making chopped liver out of a friendly waitress. Just keep bringing quality diner fare. It will work

This is going to be a short review but still wanted to share my experience. We went for lunch mid week and the place was pretty busy. We only had about a 15 minute wait which wasn't bad at all. I had the soup and sandwich combo (matzoh ball soup and half a pastrami sandwich) and my friend had the potato pancakes platter. We both really enjoyed our meals. The soup had plenty of chicken and noodles in it just the way I like it. The cole slaw and half pickle that came with my meal were delicious also. Our server was really nice, he checked on us through the meal but wasn't overbearing about it. The place is really clean. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was having to wait in line in order to pay our bill but it wasn't a deal breaker as to whether I'll return or not. If I was in the area I would definitely make a point to eat here again for some good food!
